Dr. Jiaoqi Gao is currently an Associate Professor of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (DICP). He received B.S. degree in Biological Engineering from Dalian University of Technology in 2012, and Ph.D. degree in Biochemical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology in 2017. He joined DICP as an Assistant Professor in 2017, and then worked as an Associate Professor since 2022. His research interest lies in yeast cell factory construction and methanol biotransformation. During the last 5 years, he published over 20 papers in Nature Metabolism, Nature Chemical Biology, iScience, Bioresource Technology, Biotechnology for Biofuels, and applied over 10 patents.
